With over one hundred years of marine transportation experience, Seaspan Coastal Intermodal operates a "drop trailer" service eliminating the costs associated with tractors and drivers accompanying trailers during transit to or from Vancouver Island.

Based in Delta, British Columbia, Seaspan Coastal Intermodal Company is a member of the Washington Marine Group of Companies.

Between our terminals, using our fleet of vessels, Seaspan Coastal Intermodal provides daily scheduled sailings to deliver trailers and containers for our trucking and distribution customers and railcars for the Southern Railway of Vancouver Island.

Seaspan Coastal Intermodal operates four (4) roll on, roll off, self-propelled ferries, an articulating tug and barge unit and a towed-barge specially customized for this service.
